When surfing on the Web, I’m a little paranoid, and I think that’s a good thing. It’s surprising and a bit scary to know just how much data web sites can collect about a person, just from tracking their casual surfing habits. I’ve taken a few steps to protect my privacy, security and safety while online. Why provide more information to marketers and data analysts than you have to? Why take the chance that this information might fall into the hands of hackers and thieves? I’ve compiled some steps I’ve taken to keep my web surfing as safe and private as possible.
